ABOUT US

The Corporation is established for the purpose of:

​

(a) Promoting understanding, appreciation, and recognition of Asian heritage and culture within Canadian society, through events, educational programs, exhibitions, and public presentations.

​

(b) Acting as a platform for dialogue, learning, and cultural exchange among different ethnic and cultural communities in Canada with an interest or connection to Asian heritage.

​

(c) Advocating for the preservation and promotion of historical and contemporary Asian contributions to Canadian society, in areas such as arts, sciences, humanities, sports, and other fields of societal importance.

​

(d) Facilitating collaboration among individuals, groups, organizations, and institutions engaged in activities related to Asian heritage and culture within Canada.

(e) Encouraging the participation of Canadian Asian youth in cultural, educational, and community activities, to foster leadership and engagement in the preservation and promotion of their cultural heritage.

(f) Supporting the research, documentation, and dissemination of knowledge about Asian heritage and culture in Canada.

​

(g) Engaging with local, provincial, and national government entities, non-profit organizations, and private sector institutions to advance the Association's mission.

(h) Undertaking any other activities or programs that may advance these purposes and contribute to the cultural diversity and inclusivity of Canadian society.
